Another New Apprentice

PrestonBARBER LLP is pleased to welcome our newest apprentice Sam Nelson.  Sam is a trainee CAD Technician/Mechanical Engineer who attended YorkCollege for 3 years – he has reached Level 3 in a Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment with a double grade pass! – We hope Sam enjoys his time with us here at PrestonBARBER 

WWFT Care Home

Working with York Architects, MBO, we are designing a new build 12 bed Residential Care Home in Knaresborough for the Wilf Ward Family Trust.  The Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services are being designed to help achieve a BREEAM very good target.

New Recruits

Due to an increase in workload we’ve expanded our team in the past month, Patrick Thornton and Jane Wood have joined us as Senior Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer respectively, Welcome Pat and Jane!!!

New Wortley Community Centre, Leeds

Project Office is a collaboration between lecturing architects and students at Leeds Metropolitan University, we are delighted to be working on the Lottery funded Community Centre at New Wortley, Leeds.  We will be undertaking the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health design of the Community building.

 

World Heritage Site Works

An appointment with Rance Booth Smith Architects see us undertaking the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health design for a new college for Shipley College, Saltaire.  The new build £1.2M college will apparently be the first new build in the World Heritage Site of Saltaire for over 100 years!!

SEN School, Bradford

Expanding need for specialist school accommodation has resulted in us undertaking the Mechanical and Electrical Design for the refurbishment of a redundant building to provide a new SEN primary school in Bradford.  Another project awarded under the City of Bradford Framework Agreement.
