Works have started now on site for the extension of the Café at Dean Garden Centre near York. It’s good to be working with local Construction company Evora again – it’s been a while!
The new Café will be open for Mothers Day 2017 next year – put in your diaries.

PrestonBARBER have commenced the design of their first project for the University of York. Hopefully its the first of many projects and the start of a long working relationship!
For the third consecutive time, PrestonBARBER have once again been appointed as M&E Consultants on the City of Bradford Council Consultancy Framework. Lets hope the new Government finds some money in the pot to enable Bradford to continue extending and refurbishing their primary schools!
PrestonBARBER are delighted to have been appointed as Mechanical and Electrical Consultants for the £12M ‘Re-making of Beamish’ Project. The HLF funded project is a major development of the established open air museum and will include 1950’s shops, houses, cinema and community centre along with 1820’s coaching Inn, cottages, windmill, Blacksmiths and candle makers. A total of 26 buildings in all, lots to keep us busy…………..
Lottery Grant for New Wortley
Congratulations to New Wortley Community Centre on their £686K grant from the Big Lottery Fund to build their new Community Centre. We are implementing the low energy sustainable provisions and providing full Mechanical and Electrical scheme for this project.
